Company Background

Chase Mobility is a trading division of Chase Equipment Ltd, a company with over 90 years of design and manufacturing experience. We choose to work on one off/ low volume installations where our industrial experience with scissor lift and mast lifts design and installations give us a solid platform to understand the complexities of the interfaces between lifts and buildings. These can be challenging not least as the civils can evolve as the building takes shape.

Working with architects, specifiers and construction companies we have approved supplier status for a major number of PLC’s. We design using solidworks 3D package and are familiar with using client drawing databases such as B.I.W.

Our wealth of knowledge and experience is demonstrated in our ability to design and install lifts that best suit our customers’ needs and requirements. We have installed lifts in all environments from discrete low level platforms beside steps to navigating the difficulties of listed building installation. We are proud of our passenger lift in Techniquest, Cardiff which is in itself a feature of the building. One of our most exciting projects was the lift made to look like a barrel in the Brew House of Rainham Hall, Essex.

We continue to refine our design details to ensure they function well with a minimalist profile.

We are ISO9001 approved and our health and safety procedures are approved by Altins (which allows CHAS registration without assessment).

Scissor lifts can be designed to meet regulations for both goods and Equality Act 2010 where it is required that a lift is dual purpose.

  • ISO9001 is the international standard specifying requirements for QMS (Quality Management System). The standard is used to demonstrate the ability to consistently provide products and services meeting regulatory requirements.
