Case study 4

A typical London terrace with a lightwell between the pavement and the building and the 3 steps from the pavement to the house front door. Here the solution was to fit a lift on a module that’s spans the lightwell.

Fitted with black iron balustrading, to match these existing on the pavement the lift blends into its surroundings. Gate locks and self-closing hinges that ensure the lift complies with standards. Gates that stay open can render a lift inoperable. With a robust, proven ‘hidden workings’ the reliability of the lift is ensured.
